Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 11, 2026
Bedrock is an internal time-tracking application operated by Luke 6:48 LLC
("we," "us," "our"), a Virginia-based real estate construction company.
This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information about
Luke 6:48 LLC employees (W-2) and contractors (1099) who use Bedrock.
Who this policy applies to
Bedrock is not a public service. The application is used only by Luke 6:48
LLC personnel for tracking work hours. There are no public sign-ups; access
is granted by a Luke 6:48 admin during onboarding.
Information we collect
- Identifying information: your full name and mobile phone number, provided by you to a Luke 6:48 admin at onboarding.
- Authentication: a 4-digit PIN that you set during onboarding. PINs are stored as bcrypt hashes, never as plain text.
- Work data: hours you log, the job site, the task category, optional notes, and the time you logged each entry.
- Pay setup: employment type (W-2 employee or 1099 contractor) and pay rate, used to calculate estimated pay totals.
- SMS consent record: if you have agreed to receive reminder texts, a record of that consent including the date, the admin who recorded it, and whether you have since opted out.
- Security events: failed login attempts (IP address, time) for brute-force protection. We do not track your location, browsing activity, or device fingerprints.
How we use your information
- Authenticating you when you log into Bedrock.
- Recording and reporting your work hours to Luke 6:48 admins for payroll.
- Sending you SMS reminders about logging hours and locking your weekly timesheet — only if you have given consent. You can opt out anytime by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help.
- Calculating estimated pay totals for internal reporting.
- Protecting Bedrock against unauthorized access.
Who we share information with
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties
for marketing or any other purpose. Your information is accessible only to:
- Luke 6:48 LLC owners, payroll admins, and authorized supervisors who need it for time-tracking and payroll administration.
- Service providers we use to run the application: Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (web hosting), and Twilio (SMS delivery, if you have consented to SMS). Each of these providers has its own privacy practices and contractual data-protection obligations to us.
We do not share information with advertisers, data brokers, or any party
outside what's listed above.
SMS message details
If you have given SMS consent, you will receive approximately 3 to 5
text messages per work week from Bedrock. These are transactional
reminders only — no marketing, no promotions, no third-party content.
Message and data rates may apply (your carrier's rates). You can opt out
at any time by replying STOP, and you can request
assistance by replying HELP. Opting out removes you
from SMS immediately but does not affect your access to the Bedrock
application itself.
How long we keep your information
Time entries and pay records are retained for as long as required by
federal and Virginia state employment recordkeeping rules (generally
at least three years). When you stop working for Luke 6:48, your
Bedrock account is archived. You may request deletion of personal
information that we are not legally required to retain by contacting
us at the address below.
How we protect your information
- The Bedrock application is served over HTTPS only.
- The database enforces row-level security; the browser never connects to it directly.
- PINs are bcrypt-hashed; nobody — including Luke 6:48 admins — can see your PIN in plain text.
- Failed login attempts trigger automatic lockouts to deter brute-force attempts.
Your choices
- SMS: reply STOP to any reminder to opt out, or ask a Luke 6:48 admin to disable your SMS-consent flag.
- Data access or correction: contact a Luke 6:48 admin or use the contact info below to ask for a copy of your data or to correct inaccuracies.
- Account closure: Luke 6:48 admins can archive your account at any time at your request.
Children
Bedrock is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly
collect information from minors.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change how Bedrock handles your information, we will
update this page and update the "Last updated" date above. For SMS
program changes, you will receive notice via the same SMS channel.
